Privacy Notice

Last updated June 29, 2026

Ollia is a company intelligence platform for job seekers. This notice explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what we don't do with it. We've written it in plain language on purpose — if anything is unclear, reach us at the support page.

What information Ollia collects

  • Account information — your email address and a hashed password (if you use email sign-in). Google or GitHub OAuth accounts store an OAuth identifier instead of a password.
  • Authentication metadata — sign-in timestamps, sign-in method, and email verification status.
  • Profile preferences — optional information you provide during onboarding, such as job title, industry, or location.
  • Saved companies — companies you add to your watchlist.
  • Ghost report submissions — the information you submit when filing a ghost report, including interview stage, outcome, and any notes you provide.
  • Support messages — content you submit through the support and feedback form.
  • Notification preferences — whether you have alert emails enabled or disabled.
  • Basic app and security logs — error events, rate-limit events, and authentication activity used for debugging and abuse prevention. We do not build detailed behavioral profiles or track you across other sites.

How Ollia uses your information

  • Account access — to authenticate you and maintain your session.
  • Product functionality — to show your watchlist, process submissions, display company intelligence, and send alert emails you have subscribed to.
  • Support — to read and respond to messages you send us.
  • Safety and security — to prevent abuse, rate-limit suspicious activity, and detect fraud.
  • Product improvement — to understand, in aggregate, which features are useful. We do not build individual behavioral profiles for this purpose.

Crowdsourced reports and ghost data

Ghost reports submitted through Ollia are used to compute aggregated company signals — metrics like ghosting rate and hiring funnel drop-off. Where possible, individual submissions are combined with other reports before being reflected in company scores.

We do not publish individual ghost report submissions or attribute them to named users in any public-facing way. By submitting a ghost report, you agree that your anonymized report may contribute to Ollia's aggregated company intelligence.

What Ollia does not do

  • We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
  • We do not publish ghost reports with identifying information attached.
  • We do not share your watchlist or saved companies with employers or recruiters.
  • We do not use your data to serve you third-party advertising.

Email preferences

Ollia sends two kinds of emails: transactional emails (account verification, password reset) and alert emails (company signal changes for companies you watch).

Alert emails can be disabled at any time from your notification preferences. Transactional emails cannot be unsubscribed from while your account is active — they are necessary for account security.

Data security

Your data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database with row-level security enforced at the database layer. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth. All data in transit is protected by HTTPS.

No system is completely secure. We take reasonable technical precautions and will notify you of any material breach that affects your personal data.

Children

Ollia is not intended for use by anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us at the support page.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top of the page. Continued use of Ollia after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated notice.
